I wanted to share with you to some important safety issues concerning kiting in Lagoa de Albufeira during the summer months. The lagoon is a popular swimming spot, especially during the summer months.
As much as we enjoy kiting and want to share it with everyone, safety is my top priority. I've had feedback of kites colliding with swimmers, and we simply cannot afford to take any risks when it comes to the safety of all beachgoers.
I encourage everyone to follow the safety standards in place and to remember that we are all responsible for maintaining our beaches and watersports activities safe for everyone to enjoy.
The Lagune is perfect for Kiting between February - June and September - October
