Bloubergstrand Big Bay is a known kitesurfing, windsurfing and surfing spot in Capetown. The Spot is well-known for its strong winds and consistent waves, which making Big Bay to a great spot for water sports.
The sandy beach has plenty of space to launch and land your kite. The wind normally comes from the south-east, making kitesurfing and windsurfing outstanding. The waves are normally small to medium in size, which makes the spot perfect for surf beginners.
Big Bay is a famous tourist attraction because, in addition to water activities, it offers beautiful views of Table Mountain and Robben Island. The beach is easily accessible, with lots of parking and nearby accommodation options.
